Online Nervous System Regulation Support

Structured, Trauma-Informed Help for a Dysregulated Nervous System

Nervous system dysregulation is not a character flaw. It is a physiological response, and it requires more than willpower, positive thinking, or a better morning routine to address.

Soft Landing Wellness provides structured, non-clinical support for individuals experiencing nervous system dysregulation, whether that shows up as chronic anxiety, emotional overwhelm, shutdown, hypervigilance, or exhaustion. Delivered entirely online, our programmes combine trauma-informed somatic practice, breathwork, movement, and consistent human contact to help you find your way back to a regulated baseline.

What Nervous System Dysregulation Actually Looks Like

Nervous system dysregulation is not always obvious. Many people live with it for years, adapting around it rather than addressing it, because the symptoms do not always look like distress from the outside.

At its core, dysregulation means the nervous system has lost its ability to move fluidly between states of activation and rest. It may be stuck in a state of chronic stress or anxiety, unable to fully come down. Or it may have tipped into shutdown, leaving you flat, disconnected, and unable to engage with life in the way you want to.

20260410_1117_Image Generation_simple_compose_01kntsqejkf4d9ff729ypvg8n9.png

Common experiences include:

  • Chronic anxiety, tension, or a persistent sense that something is wrong

  • Emotional overwhelm, sudden mood shifts, or difficulty returning to calm

  • Numbness, emotional flatness, or a sense of going through the motions

  • Difficulty sleeping, even when exhausted

  • Hypervigilance, scanning for threat, or difficulty feeling safe in relaxed environments

  • Physical symptoms including a tight chest, shallow breathing, jaw clenching, or digestive issues

  • An inability to rest fully, even when there is nothing to be done

  • Feeling easily startled, easily overwhelmed, or easily triggered by things that did not previously affect you

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not broken. You may simply not yet have the right kind of support.

Why Understanding Your Nervous System Matters

The nervous system is not just a background process. It shapes how you think, how you feel, how you relate to other people, and how you experience the world. When it is dysregulated, everything is harder.

Conventional approaches to stress, anxiety, and emotional difficulty often focus on the mind: reframing thoughts, building insight, talking through experiences. These approaches have genuine value. But the nervous system lives in the body, and body-based dysregulation requires body-based support.

Practices such as somatic movement, breathwork, TRE, and trauma-informed yoga work directly with the physiology of the stress response. They support the nervous system in completing cycles it may have been unable to finish, discharging stored tension, and rebuilding the capacity for genuine rest and presence. This is not about relaxation techniques. It is about restoring a fundamental physiological function.

How Soft Landing Supports Nervous System Regulation

Soft Landing is not therapy. We do not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical intervention. What we offer is structured, grounded, evidence-informed support that works alongside any existing clinical care you may have.

Our approach draws on:

Trauma-Informed Somatic Practice

Body-based practices that support nervous system regulation without pressure or performance. You do not need any previous experience of yoga, movement, or wellness.

Yoga
Nidra

A deeply restorative practice that supports nervous system recovery without requiring effort or performance. Particularly useful when active engagement feels too much.

Breathwork and Meditation

Accessible, evidence-informed techniques for calming the stress response, improving sleep, and rebuilding a sense of safety in the body.

Recovery &
Life Coaching

Practical, structured support for rebuilding routine, managing energy, setting boundaries, and creating a sustainable rhythm in daily life.

TRE-Informed
Practices

Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, used gently to support the body in discharging stored stress and returning to a more regulated baseline.

Psychoeducation & Workshops

Understanding what dysregulation does to the body and mind is itself part of recovery. Our workshops cover topics including nervous system education, sleep hygiene, stress management, and sustainable routine-building.

Weekly Timetable

Our weekly programme runs Monday to Saturday, with four structured sessions each day. Every client, regardless of tier, attends the morning and evening group sessions — these form the consistent rhythm of the week. Individual sessions are allocated according to your tier, woven into the schedule to ensure that support feels steady and manageable rather than overwhelming.

Session allocation is designed to match the level of contact appropriate to each tier. Tier 3 clients attend live sessions only, providing a reliable weekly structure without the intensity of individual work. Tier 2 clients receive one individual session per week alongside both live sessions, while Tier 1 clients receive two. All individual sessions are held with Melanie or Keith and are tailored to your current needs, whether that draws on coaching, somatic practice, or psychoeducation. Sunday is a rest day across all tiers — no sessions are scheduled, and none are expected.

Who You Will Be Working With

Soft Landing Wellness was founded by Melanie and Keith, two practitioners who bring both professional training and lived experience of recovery to everything they do. Both are in recovery themselves, and that understanding sits at the heart of how Soft Landing was built.

Meet Melanie

Melanie holds qualifications across yoga therapy, meditation, breathwork, nutrition, and sound healing. Her approach is deeply client-focused, shaped by years of direct experience supporting people through recovery and rebuilding. She knows what it feels like to need support that is calm, consistent, and free from pressure, and she built this service to offer exactly that.

Keith brings qualifications in yoga, meditation, breathwork, Pilates, and martial arts, alongside a natural ability to make movement and regulation practices genuinely accessible, whatever someone's starting point. He has spent years helping people reconnect with their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and he approaches every client with the same warmth, patience, and grounded encouragement he would have wanted for himself.

A Note on Scope

Soft Landing Wellness is not a clinical or medical service. We do not provide therapy, diagnose conditions, or offer crisis support. We operate within clearly defined scope-of-practice boundaries and maintain ethical referral pathways to clinical services where needed.

Our support is designed to complement your existing care, not to replace it.

If you are currently under the care of a GP, psychiatrist, or therapist, we encourage you to let them know you are exploring additional support. We are happy to liaise with your clinical team where appropriate.
